Accessibility Statement
Our Commitment
We are committed to delivering high-quality digital therapeutic software to support the self-management of long-term conditions for patients and healthcare providers, regardless of technology, digital confidence or ability. We aim to ensure the my mhealth app and its modules are accessible, usable and inclusive, and supported across a wide range of devices, operating systems and assistive technologies.
We design, develop and review the my mhealth app with accessibility in mind, embedding accessibility considerations throughout our product lifecycle rather than treating them as a one-off activity.
Accessible content and features
All areas within the my mhealth app include clear written guidance alongside supporting video content to explain how each module works. “How to use” videos are available within relevant sections to provide an alternative way of understanding content and functionality. All video content includes subtitles to support accessibility.
We aim to use clear language, consistent layouts, logical navigation and readable content to support users with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive access needs.
User testing and participation
Accessibility is supported through ongoing user research and continuous improvement. We undertake regular user testing and usability testing with a diverse range of users to understand how people interact with the my mhealth app and its modules and to identify potential accessibility or usability barriers.
We also maintain an active patient participation group. Any my mhealth user can get involved by emailing research@mymhealth.com. Feedback from this group directly informs improvements to design, content and functionality.
Support and contact
If you require additional support when using the my mhealth app, experience accessibility barriers, or need information in an alternative format, our experienced digital support team are at hand to assist. They are available via email via support@mymhealth.com, phone +44 (0)1202 299 583 or WhatsApp so you can get in touch in the way that suits you best.
We are committed to responding to accessibility-related feedback and supporting users to access our software effectively.
Accessibility standards
Our accessibility approach is informed by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. We aim to meet Level AA standards where applicable and review accessibility on an ongoing basis as part of development, testing and service improvement.
